Hi All;
After spending 8 years on my father's Canadian branch, and finding
over 2000 direct ancestors back to France, England, Scotland, &
Portugal, I'm now getting serious about my mother's Liverpool
branch. I have 4 sets of g-grandparents and a couple
g-grandfathers' names. There early ones (1850-1900's) are all in
Liverpool.
DAVIES & WHITEHEAD;
HOWARTH & HUMPHREYS;
MACKIE (MACKEY) & MAHONEY (b Dublin, Ireland)
I know by the names that, if I get lucky, I'll be searching in
other Counties, Scotland, Ireland and Wales sooner or later. For
now, I'll concentrate on Lanc.
Another question: can anyone tell me if there is/was a Valentine
Street/Lane/Road/Avenue in Liverpool. If so, can you tell me where
it is located? I am assuming near the docks - probably a very
large area.
Any help appreciated.
Happy hunting,
