Dear Selena,

I am RC and have found some of my RC ancestors on the IGI, so maybe it just
depends on the decision of each parish priest. In my case, I haven't found
any of my father's line (C of E) on the IGI.

When I was in Salt Lake City last year, I saw that the IGI project was in
several predominantly Catholic countries as well. Spain and South America
are among the places covered. I presume they must have access to RC records,
because without them, they'd have very little to go on.

Just a thought.

Thank you all so very much for clarifying my RC problem. I still can't find

anyone, but at least I know it's not because I am doing something wrong.

I did understand the purpose of the Mormon research, but did not stop and
think how it might impact the RC church. It makes perfect sense now!

Sincerely,
Selena
PS I got hit by the virus as I was expecting an attachment. Spent all day
fixing it. Be careful, people! I resubscribed in digest mode so the fake
msgs really pop out at you.
