I too do not have anyone "famous", at least in England that I know of. However a couple of my ancestors became known also by have things named after them after coming to Canada.

My SPARKHALL ancestors (Norfolk) have a street named after them in Toronto, Can and my Grandfather, Ernest WILLIS has a village named after him also in Ontario Can - Willisville.
www.willisville.ca It is a beautiful little village nestled in the LaCloche Mountain range. Ernest's family was from Wiltshire and IOW originally and came to Can. in 1875.
