Dear List,
Does anyone have any Liverpool Neligan connections. The same family was
also in Birkenhead and Tranmere but there not many Neligans in the whole
of England.
Mary Ann Williams married Henry Neligan 18 Sept/ 1847 Liverpool Register
Office.

There were 3 other Williams sisters too. Margaret (b1825 and my GGGM),
Elizabeth (1827) and Jane (?DOB). The parents of these 4 girls were
Edward Williams and Sarah ? born Nantwich.

The Irish poet Oliver Goldsmith was part of the Neligan family and this
why quite a number of the Neligan family had both Oliver and Goldsmith
as Christian names. Makes them eazy to identify.
