My 2 great grandmother was Alice Mercer b 1803, m 1825 to Henry Mawdsley, so far only 1 child my ggrandmother Alice Mawdsley b 1839, who married Wm Kirkbride 1856 in Liverpool. Wm was born in Dearham in 1834.
Alice Mercer was the daughter of Edmund Mercer, 1774 in Ormskirk, and Mary ?, b 1779 in Burscough. Any connection?
I would love to know if Alice Mawdsley had siblings.
