Hi,
Green Street runs off Vauxhall Road, immediately south of Hornby St. The
name still exists, there is a pub on the corner called the "Green Man Inn".
The nearest RC church is Our Lady of Reconciliation, founded 1854, Eldon
St.
I'm not sure where they would be buried, Ford RC cemetery wasn't opened
until January 1859.
For newspapers, try the Liverpool Weekly Courier or the Liv.Weekly Mercury.
I've checked the list of Liverpool Streets and there is no "Key shut".
There is a Key St., off Tithebarn St., and a Kew Place, which is one of the
Courts running off Green St.
There is no St.Marys on Edmund St. Do you mean Highfield St ?
This is one of the oldest RC churches in Liverpool. In 1861 there were very
few RC churches in the vicinity of Green St.
St.Marys may have been the family church.
I suspect you have seen the Inquest Registers, which are held at Liverpool
Record Office.
Regards,
Tony
