Rita,
I have looked at the 1871 image for the Kavanagh ( Cavanagh) and Doyle
families and the Doyle parents quite definitely come from Ireland. I
don't know how the transcriber got Illyria - it is exactly the same as
the Ireland for Ann Cavanagh a few rows above. Maybe he she was feeling
bored or Shakesperian!
Have sent the image to you off-list so you can confirm for yourself.
