David,
Is this the one shown on the following web-site:
http://web.onetel.net.uk/~chsb/HSB1823.htm

My interest was caught because there is a seat dedicated to the memory of
the same Rev. gentleman at Waterloo Free Church, formerly Waterloo Baptist
Church.
According to the web site, the Rev. Hugh was born in 1823.
He looks formidable on the photo!

Regards,

Subject: [ENG-LIV] Reverend Hugh Stowell BROWN

The Reverend Hugh Stowell BROWN was minister of Myrtle Street Baptist Chapel
in the 18th century. There was a statue of him erected at the site of the
chapel which was later moved to a position outside the entrance of Princes
Park. During the Toxteth riots the Council removed this statue for safe
keeping. They do not now know what became of it. The Liverpool Conservation
Centre is also unaware of its whereabouts.

Can anyone help please?

David
