I am trying to find a record of a marriage between Charles ENGLISH of
Preston & Elizabeth WILLIAMS of Liverpool.
According to all the census data, Charles was born c 1821 in Preston &
Elizabeth WILLIAMS was born Liverpool c 1830.
Census records would also indicate that their first child, Elizabeth, was
born c 1850 (1861) or c 1856 (1871) in Lambeth so I do not know whether the
marriage took place in the London area or in Liverpool where Elizabeth was
born.
I have checked Free BMD as well as Ancestry and could find no marriage.
Also found nothing on IGI.
Would anyone have any info on this couple. I am assuming from the date of
Elizabeth's (the daughter) birth that they married sometime between
1848-1856.
Also, is there a list for West Derby?
Any help GREATLY appreciated!!!!
