Dear listers,

I still haven't found my gggrandparents in the 1851 census. I've searched all through Woolton and surrounding areas and face the daunting task of trawling through all of West Derby and Liverpool.

Is it possible to search the cd index for West Derby and Liverpool by christian name? My gggrandmother's name was Charlotte and she may perhaps have been mistranscribed with another surname.

If this results in too many she was born Woolton c1830 but the age varied a lot in the following censuses. Husband James was a gardener born c1824 also Woolton.
