I thought I would post my interests to the list in case the new year can be
the one that knocks a couple of bricks out of my Donoghue Wall.
My Donoghue family arrived in Bury, Lancashire in the early 1870's and were
enumerated in 1881 as follows.

Margaret Donough 42 b Ireland
Ellen Donough 20 b Liverpool (This age could be incorrect)
Mary Donough 20 b Liverpool
Eliza Donough 17 b Liverpool
James Donough 12 b Liverpool (Possibly Bootle)
Walter Donough 15 b Liverpool
There was also a Margaret Donough transcribed as a boarder in Bury in 1881
who was also a family member.

Margarets husband Patrick died in Bury in 1873.
I have so far accounted for all members of the family after 1881 except Mary
and Ellen who seem to just dissapear.
Ellen was my ggrandmother who gave birth to my grandmother in 1882 but left
the child to be brought up by her mother Margaret.

Some time ago a lister called Cathy Clarke posted Donoghue interests to the
List but I have been unable to contact her.
If anyone has a new email address for Cathy I would love to contact her
about our similar Donoghue interests.
