Hi William
Anything is possible
Had an ancestor who's mother's maiden name was KNOX - she was actually Miss. STUBBS
Ages have been reduced by 5 or 8 years sometimes
and aren't always right on death certificates!!
Birth places have changed from one census to the next
Relationships to the head of household also conflict
A female Thanne LANE later became a male Thomas JONES!
Not believe everything you read. LOL!
Say "Isle of Man" really fast while holding your nose - it could sound like Ireland LOL! Well - anything is possible!
;)
Best wishes,
Ian.
