I know Dunlops had a factory just south of the city centre, my father worked
there for a time in the 1950s, als my gran in the 20s I think. As to what
was made there, I would imagine all things rubber. Hope this helps.

I see on the email just posted by Kathleen for Bob a boy working India
Rubber works.

Have had two ancestors spent sometime working there ourselves and on info
recently kindly sent from another connection overseas found there was
another who had worked in the same place.

I keep thinking some sort of tyre factory......but does anyone out there
know....what is was related to.
