Hi UK,
Please can I ask you another question ? The information you located for the
two Parsonage men with businesses almost around the corner from each other.
Do the directories give the impression they are related? Such as brothers or
father and son?.
I am trying to make a connection to these Manchester Parsonage people and a
Henry Parsonage in Denton in an 1832 trade directory who had the same
business plumbing and glazier. This Henry was shown in the 1851 census as
born in Manchester around 1795. I know Denton is in Manchester, but people
born in Denton were shown as born in Denton on the same census.
According the 1851 Denton census Henry married Margaret ? she was born 1804
in Oldham. They also had a son John born in 1823 in Oldham. Perhaps they had
other children and they had married and moved on.
Should you have time, any help would be appreciated.
Kind regards
Mike

Mike,
I didn't fully answer your question.Samuel's workshop was on Newton
Street (a small street) which was just off Dale street.

UK
Please note that (usually) I am not able to answer off list queries.
