As from the 1st September 2003 the Tameside Register Office will move
temporarily to allow for refurbishment of the Dukinfield Town Hall.

Their New Postal Address will be:

Education & Development Centre
Lakes Road
Dukinfield
Cheshire
SK16 4TR

The Telephone number remains the same: 0161 330 1177 / 1454

For anyone visiting the Office, the new site is only minutes away from the
old one. From Dukinfield Town Hall continue along King Street away from
Ashton. Pass Dukinfield Park on your left and take the next road left which
is Pickford Lane. Proceed up Pickford Lane for about 200 yards and turn
right into Lakes Road. The Register Office will be in the Old Lakes Road
School.
