Hello. Could SKS in the Widnes area please help me. My Father Walter Webster born 22/09/1890 served in WW1. I have seen photos of him in Uniform and have a recall of the term Quartermaster Sergeant - how can I find out his regiment etc. Also would like to know if there are any MMI index for Farnworth Church and also Childwall Abbey Church.
Researching - Webster,Wright,Robertson & Grace families all of whom lived in the Widnes area in the 1800 - 1930 period. Some descendants may well still be there. The Wrights were connected with several Public Houses - The Wellington & The Commercial being two that I am aware of. All help appreciated. regards Maureen in NZ
