Marj,

I have a photo of My grandfather in uniform aged 35yrs from WW1, he Died a
year later in a hospital in DAR ES SALAAM and Buried in (UPANGA ROAD)
CEMETERY Tanzania East Africa, 13 days after the end of the War.

He never got to see his twins my Father and his Sister.

Rumour is he had pneumonia.

My Oldest Grandson marched in the ANZAC Day march in 2004 wearing both my
Grandfathers WW! Medals which I had Mounted.
I followed him Videoing the whole March boy was I beat, at the end of the
march I sat down with him and bought him a cup of tea, while I rested my
weary bones.
I was very proud of him and we had some good male bonding without a pint of
beer, now the same lad is going to make me a Great-grandfather for the first
time, her due date is the 6th of June but her Doctor feels 95% certain that
she will give birth at least 3 weeks before that which will be her 21st
Birthday, and it will be a girl.

Ron.
