Hi Peter

I have a connection to the CASS family who were in the Durham area in 1881.
I have not yet got the marriage certificate, because my mother told me
about it. She died aged 97 - 3 years ago, but was born and brought up in
Trimdon she was never senile.

Joseph of Trimdon married Grace Fletcher GRAYDON in 1898, at Easington.

They are living in Pemberton Lancashire in 1901 and have a son George aged
one year born in Trimdon. George is Grace Fletchers father's name. Joseph
is 28 and Grace is 30, he is an Under Cooker in a coal mine. They later
returned to the Durham area as my mother was born in December 1903 to
Grace's brother James Fletcher GRAYDON my grandfather, and remembers the
CASS family, she thought they only had about 2 childen.

Bedale is and always has been in the North Riding of Yorkshire.
