All this I have exactly as you list here, so the only issue is William's
baptismal date, possibly one of us copied it wrong.

My unknown on this line are the parents of Jane Gill.

Census records show her born about 1798 in Galphay.

Ripon Parish Registers that you previously sent to me havetwo entries 9 Feb
1798 and also 28 May 1798 for a Jane Gill, both times dau of John junior of
Galwhey.

Both entries have the father as John junior...could these possibly be
duplicate entries, despite the different dates? Could have there have been
two John Gill Jr that had a dau Jane born in Galphay within 3 months in
1798?

IGI has a Jane Gill dau of William Gill and Dinah Brown born 21 Aug 1794 in
South Kilvington (Bishop's transcripts)
also Jane Gill bap 1 Oct 1796 Thornton, Ripon, dau of Matthew Gill & Ann
