From the SFHS 1851 Census index:
BARNARD John 33 SFK Combs HO107/1793/524
BARNARD Mary 31 SFK Needham HO107/1793/524
BARNARD Sarah 12 SFK Needham HO107/1793/524

I've recently searched Stowmarket and Combs Parish registers for the surname
of Barnard and have about 15 pages of entries. I'm short of time now (I'm
back to Switzerland first thing in the morning), but I'm pretty sure that I
have a fair picture of John and Mary, their children, and John's parents.

John Barnard b. abt 1815 Combs
Mary " b. ?
and children.

William B Boon/Bone b.1826 combs
Mary Ann " b. 1827 Stowmarket
and kids.

John Bone/Boon b. 1803 Combs
Mary " b. 1810 "

I would like to ask for my Read's b. Combs/Battisford in Combs/Battisford
too but might do so another time.
