I had a different email from Pat Wilden, and have replied to her, though I
couldn't tell her very much. My great great grandmother was Mary Ann Wilden
of Stowupland (1826-1907). Her nephew George ran the Retreat pub in
Stowupland in the 1890s, and his grandson (?) Donald ran the Rose and Crown,
Bridge Street, Stowmarket in the 1950s-70s (picture on the Stowmarket
website). I don't know of a Frank or Albert but someone else may do.
