Hi everybody,

When did you last check the Index to see who else is interested in the same surname(s) as you in Yorkshire? Each week new submitters send in their surnames. Who knows, one of these might just be able to help you break down a brick wall - or you, theirs.

Go the the YKS Home Page at http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/YKS/YKSlist/, look at the groups of letters and check on the one that should contain the surname you are interested in. You will be taken to a sub-index page. Use your Find tool to see whether your surname is listed. Sometimes, it may even be listed more than a dozen times. To contact a submitter, click on EMAIL and you will be provided with an addressed popup that you can use to contact that person directly. If you prefer not to use the popup, copy the full email address that is shown. Good luck!
