Hi All.
I have a family of RODGERS in 1841 & 1861 but cannot find them in 1851.
In 1841 they are at Cheyney Row, Sheffield
John Rodgers, 45, Engraver
Elizabeth, 40,
John, 20, Engravers App
Elizabeth, 17, Milliner
Emma, 16
Henry, 14
Jacob, 13
Hannah, 9
Joseph, 7
Maurice, 5
James, 1
all born in county.
By 1861 John and Elizabeth are presumed dead and daughter Elizabeth is head of household at:
132 Fitzwilliam St, Eccleshall Bierlow (hate that place - I have to look it up EVERY time just to spell in correctly)
Elizabeth Rodgers, Head, U, 37, Dressmaker
Joseph, Brother, U, 27, Auctioneer
Maurice, Brother, U, 25, Engraver
James, Brother, U, 21, "
Mary Ann Roberts, Serv, U, 15, Gen Serv
all born Sheffield
These guys are really giving me the run-around, any suggestions gratefully received!
Kevin,
Biggin-on-the-Bump, Kent
