Hi Graham,
Sorry to hear that you are slipping and sliding over the new marble floor of
the library in your mad rush to get cracking. Put your pumps on (posh word now
`trainers`, pumps when I was a lad), (anybody know why they were called
`pumps`?!!) and don`t forget your walking stick with the rubber ferrule on the
base. Oh yes, the HUGHES`s.

My four times ggrandfather Edward ROBERTS b 1723 married Sarah HUGHES b 1730
to parents Richard HUGHES b 1685 Oswestry and Mary SWAN b 1697 Oswestry.
Sarah`s siblings are Ann b 1728, Mary b 1734 and Richard b 1738. I go no further
back on Richard the father but I do on Mary SWAN. That`s all I have I`m afraid.
