Hello Everyone


Happy New Year to you all.

I have updated the above list earlier today, which is an interim measure as
I may not have included all updates received since 1 December 03. I have a
pile of outstanding work to go through which was received during the
Christmas and New Year period. You will note more information is now shown
including specific locations and appropriate web sites. If you have an entry
and wish add information to it, please advise me ASAP.

I would also like to thank Don for his assistance and use of his site for
our mutual benefit as without him this Surname List would not exist. Whist
there may be other lists covering the Cumbria area this is now the biggest
in content and should be your first port of call if you have lost or cannot
find your ancestors.

Thank you all for your support and keep the information coming, including
any amendmendments.
