Hello listers,

Can anyone please tell me what coal mines were around the Dawley Magna area
of Shropshire. Francis Richards born Stepney, London, on the 1861 census in
Dawley (abode Charles Hey?) says he is a coal miner, he is about 26 at the
time and I think he must have either come to live with his uncle Robert BALL
and his wife Ann (nee Hazlehurst) probably after Francis' father died in
1847 in Stepney.
