Hi Annette

According to the records extracted from the parish registers by members of
the Ironbridge Gorge Community Archive (www.igca.co.uk):

.There was a Walter John Jones who married an Emma Jones on 14 May
1883 at Holy Trinity Coalbrookdale.
Walter was a pattern maker living in Coalbrookdale - Emma's occupation was
unknown and she was also living in Coalbrookdale.
Walter's father was John Jones also a pattern maker and Emma's father was
William Jones - a dresser.

.Also in Coalbrookdale 26/Dec/1877 a Joseph Jones married Agnes James
from Manchester. Joseph's father was John Jones a pattern maker so it may be
that Joseph & Walter were brothers. This may help in deciding whether or not
you have the right family.

.Also in the baptisms at Holy Trinity 6/Dec/1857 (born 26/10/1857)
was a Walter John Jones son of John (pattern maker) & Emily of
Coalbrookdale.

I hope this helps and if there is anything else I can look up for you please
let me know.

Sue (member of Igca)
