Hi folks

And yet another transcript by David Cheek can now be seen at:

Namely a transcript of the Bishops Transcripts of the "Blessed Virgin
Mary" Church of England for Compton Pauncefoot (CP), Somerset.

I regret to advise though that you will find nothing for the latter part
of the 17th and the whole of the 18th century! David suggests it was
patchy :-) I think I would use something slightly stronger! The CRO
at Taunton state they have some Parish Registers for CP, but
unfortunately they don't include the gaps in their on-line index!
