Hi here is my query if anyone can suggest anything.

I had a WILLIAM FARMER and no info on this person
UNTIL I received a letter date 4th Sept. 1825
FROM Devonshire Buildings near BATH
BY parents JOHN and SARAH FARMER to their daughter FANNY BROWNE in America
Fanny and William are brother and sister
REFERENCE in letter
"William has now 5 small children under eight years"
Now I know something of my William
BUT
Where do I look now?
Where/what is Devonshire Buildings.
Can anyone do a lookup of the parents area or surrounding area for this William with 5 children under 8.
Anyone have any suggestions, please
