This week is the first Local History Week and events are taking place
all over the country. See the local press and radio.
Dorset County Museum 'Local History Live' Saturday May 11th
2.30 - 5.00 Local groups and individuals will give short presentations
about the work they are carrying out at present in the county.
Displays on Friday and Saturday in the Museum.
Dorset Migration Index will have a stand and small exhibition. Celia
Martin and Jane Ferentzi-Sheppard will be at the stand on Saturday.
Copies of the Greenwood Tree Channel Island Special will also be on
sale.
On Wednesday we are holding our own day of events in Bridport.
Wednesday 8th May Open Morning
Local History Centre Gundry Lane and S&DFHS West Dorset Research
Centre, 45 West St will be open to all from 10.00 -1.00
