I'm endeavouring to tie up lots of loose ends in my Saffin family tree (mixed mataphor there, I think!) and wonder if anyone has any data or ideas that might help.

Initially, I'm trying to establish who were the parents of the following:

Adolphus SAFFIN, b. circa 1852, Wiveliscombe (later became policeman in Bristol)
Albert SAFFIN, b. circa 1854, Wiveliscombe (moved to Bampton and became Ganger on Railway).
Alice SAFFIN, b. circa 1883 at Milverton
Elizabeth SAFFIN, b. circa 1882 at Milverton
Frank SAFFIN, b. circa 1853, Wiveliscombe (moved to Leeds, Yorkshire, worked for railway police)
Frederick SAFFIN, b. circa 1886, Milverton
John SAVIN/SAFFIN, b. 1764, Clatworthy, Somerset (Thatcher)
John SAFFIN, b. circa 1820, Wiveliscombe (moved to Milverton, worked as Poulterer)
John SAFFIN, b. circa 1823, Huish Champflower (moved to Milverton, Occupation: Higgler)
Matilda SAFFIN, b. circa 1890, Milverton
Thomas SAFFIN, b. circa 1849, Wiveliscombe (married Jane UPHAM)
Thomas SAFFIN, b. circa 1851, Wiveliscombe (Occupation: Higgler, Yardman/Gardener)
William SAFFIN, b. circa 1779, Wiveliscombe, Farmer, Married: 1) Sarah ROSSITER 2) Elizabeth COX
William SAFFIN, b. circa 1849, Wiveliscombe, Married: Caroline ___?, Occupation: Railway Packer

If anyone has any clues to the above, or indeed any SAFFIN family data (no matter how insignificant it may seem!) I will be very glad to receive it.
