On the 1901 Census for Whitestaunton, Chard, Somerset. I have found an
entry for
Elizabeth ALLEN, Widow, age 31 b Whitestaunton, Somerset. Living with her
son William ALLEN age 3 b.Enniskillen, Ireland and father Alfred KNIGHT,
Widower (my Gt Grandfather) in the village of Howley, Somerset.

Has anyone any connections with this family? Any information on birth of William ALLEN and marriage of Elizabeth ALLEN nee KNIGHTappreciated.

Other Surnames on 1901 census page are LONG, BERRY, FOLLETT, LEE, PHILLIPS AND SPARKS
