I am trying to find information on Wilshires living in Somerset around 1828.
My great great grandmother's brother, Joseph Wilshire, was born in
Camerton on December 3, 1828. My great great grandmother's name was
Elizabeth Wilshire, and she was born on March 29, 1852. I know she was born
in England, but I'm not sure where. They had to have come to the U.S.
between 1852 and 1860 because Joseph was married in Illinois in 1860.
Elizabeth and Joseph were the children of James Wilshire, born around 1781.
If anyone has any information regarding these people, I'd appreciate hearing
