I obatained this information from the High Ham parish registers. I looked
them up at the Genealogical Society of Victoria in July 2001. I got the
children of Thomas and Love Bolster and Sampson and Rachel Bolster from the
High Ham baptisms 1644 - 1812. In the deaths and burials 1688 - 1807 the
burials were - James Bolster infant 3 Feb 1760, Sampson Bolster the younger
4 Sept 1766, Joseph Bolster 19 Feb 1769, Sampson Bolster 13 April 1777.
I hadn't finished all the Baptisms, Marriages and burials for High Ham. I
hadn't checked marriages before 1760. There may not have been any.
In the baptisms - to Thomas and Love - John 20 Sept 1749 and Thomas 29
March 1752.
To Sampson and Rachel - Thomas and Ann 7 April 1750 and James 6 Jan 1760.
I hadn't beeen checking the Huish Episcopi registers in April for Bolster
Baptisms, Marriages and Burials, because at that time I didn't know about
Ann Bolster being an ancestor. Since July 2001 I have completed very little
research. I have photos of the High Ham church and font. High Ham would have
had an inn as well at the time.

Thank you so very much as this is the first real proof we have had of our
Sampson Bolster. If possible could you send me the original records? I
am
thrilled with this information beyond belief. I felt Sampson had
disappeared
forever.
