Re Bath Parishes and Districts
Many thanks to Stan Mapstone for advice about the online parish map.
The map available at the websiste below is very useful for Somerset in
general but it does not seem to reveal any details at all about the parishes
within Bath itself which I would really like to know more about. Does the
website offer more detailed views? Or has anyone any other suggestions about
sources of parishes and their locations within Bath.
I note for example that in the 1851 census there are two or more parishes in
the "District" of Walcot: Trinity, St Swithin and possibly St Saviour, which
may be a sub-parish.
I would be very grateful for further advice.
