My name is Carlene Gapper. And I live in New Zealand. I am new to
message boards. But I've been searching the HARRIS family on and off for
the past 12 years.

I am researching the HARRIS family of East Chinnock, Somerset. The main
family I am looking at is my g, g, g grandfather Luke HARRIS and his
wife Charlotte NEWMAN. Both were born between 1810-1813. Luke is the son
of Luke HARRIS and Ann CHAFFEY. This emgirated to New Zealand in 1841.
With the following children : William, James [my family], Johna and
Sarah and George [possible son of Charlotte and her first husband not
yet confirmed only a family story]
