This may be the same couple, Thirza Purnell, widow, daughter of Isaac
Harris, married Michael Harris on 25 Jan 1872 at Doulting, Somerset.
According to my note Michael was born 1833 at West Cranmore, while Thirza
was about there abt 1828. I've suspected for some time that Michael &
Thirza were cousins.

Thirza's first cousin was Hill Broadribb Purnell (first cousin of my
g.g.grandmother). At present I don't have their marriage, but judging from
the baptisms of their children it was between 1847 (when Hill was 20) and
1855 (when eldest child was baptised). Hill had Thirza had five children.
Amanda Emily (abt 1855), Charles Henry (born abt 1857), Catherine 'Kitty'
(born about 1860), Henry (born about 1860) and Margaret (born about 1862).
All were baptised at Doulting, but other than Margaret, I can't find any of
them in the 1881 census index, so I suspect some may have died young.

Happy to provide more information on the Purnell family if anyone is
interested. Both Hill and Broadribb are family names frequently given as
forenames, along with Skey and Fisher.

Hello I have found Michel & Thurza Harris, in 1881 census (some spell
Thurza with an Thu and with Thi). They have A Son John Harris born 1864
Stallbridge Dorset, has any one got parish record for Stallbridge Dorset. I
think there might be more children.

I have Thurza Brother & Sister George born 1829 and Eliza all I have is
christen 25th Sep 1824.
