Thanks for your help, Alison has got back to me and i am waiting for her to send me a GEDCOM. I now know that i am definately on the right track and that my Edbrooke ancestors are from Old Cleeve Somerset. I was a bit thrown by an ancestor called John Edbrooke who was married twice, firstly to Sarah and then to Emma. Hopefully the information that she sends to me will now confirm that i have the details of Johns parents as well. So once again, many thanks.
