James Charles Hoddinott, who married Anne Roynon on 12 November 1874 at
Norton St Philip was baptised at Norton St Philip on 13 Aug 1854 with a
birth date of 16 July 1854. He was the son of George Hoddinott and
Elizabeth nee Phillipps. James and Ann had two children, George Edward born
in Buckland, Gloucestershire and Ellen Mabel baptised 29 April 1881 at
Stratton St Margaret. Experts on the Hoddinott family (pedigree can be
found on the families page of http://www.fromeresearch.org.uk/ on Frome
area), don't appear to know what happened to James Charles after 1881. He
may well have gone abroad. I don't know whether there are other James C
Hoddinotts of a suitable age.

I'll forward your e-mail to them in case they know more, because if it isn't
the James Charles Hoddinott you've identified he almost certainly fits into
the Hoddinott family.

I am doing some research at Venado Tuerto cemetery and Icome across the
gravestone of "James C. Hoddinott"
I can read on it " Born Norton St. Phlilip Somersetshire 1853"
Died Jul 27th 1913
I have fond at www.familysearch.org in 1881 census, James C. Hoddinot, Head,
Married, Male, Age: 26, Birthplace: Norton St. Phlilip Somerset, England.
Wife: Anne Hoddinott, Age 27
I think he is the James was buried at Venado Tuerto cemetery
I also have found at the same web site but in "Pedigree Resource File" James
Charles Hoddinott married Ann Roynon, but died 1934 in Cheltenham, Victoria,
Australia.

¿Coud be the same James C. Hoddinott?

I do not know if this is important for someone who is looking for this
family.
