Hello Liz
Thanks you so much for this, it's most kind of you and more than I hoped
for. It is obviously the same family as my 1901 entry - I now just have to
prove that this family is mine! Going through some old notes I find I have a
couple of possible marriage references so I may have to toss a coin and send for
one. It is, of course, possible that my Elizabeth EVANS didn't marry a
Thomas JOHNSON at all, as my deceased great aunt thought 20 years ago! She
didn't get all her information correct. But Elizabeth was certainly a pupil
teacher in 1881. My biggest problem is that there are so many births to choose
from.
As for your other suggestion, I will try contacting the Somerset RO and see
if they have any school records.
Many thanks again
Carol
