My advice in circumstances like that Shirley is to look for younger
siblings for Job who, hopefully, married after September 1837! You then
obtain their marriage certificate which will give you the names of the
fathers. You mention Job EDMUNDS was born in Somerset but you don't say
where in Somerset...this would help - the 1851 census will tell you
where in Somerset he was born. After he died what happened to his widow
and his children...later censuses sometimes show an elderly parent
living with them so you should check all the censuses even after Job
died. Families often lived in the same street so seeing the original
censuses often help.
