HI again Rowland. The entry for John ACREMAN baptism is on IGI site at Family Search. Baptism is 1774 in Bath and parents are William and Elizabeth. The marriage in 1803 Bristol is on the same site.

The 1851 entry for George looks like this (seems to bear out the 1803 marriage to Elizabeth CROUCH):

Southwark Bridge Road, Southwark St George, Surrey
John Barnsley CROUCH 59 Tailor. b Bristol
Sarah 48. B London
George ACRAMAN 41 Tailor. B Bristol
Jesse 23 (wife). B London
Charles CROUCH 21 Teacher of music. B London
Elizabeth VIOLET 52. B Bitterne, Hampshire
Matchely JONES 23 Gentlewoman. B Carmarthenshire
William JONES 2. B London
[in 1841 John Barnsley CROUCH is in Queens Bench Prison in Southwark]

The family in Hastings in 1851:
2 Castle Hill, St Mary in the Castle, Hastings, Sussex
John ACRAMAN 74 Wid/Retired draper and musician?. B Bristol
William Henry 45 Teacher of music. B Bristol
Henry William ACRAMAN 15 Scholar at home. B London, MSX

This John ACRAMAN is still in Hastings in 1861 but appears to be boarding with an unrelated family. There is a death registration in Hastings 1871 for a John ACRAMAN aged 93.

In 1851 the SPALDING household:

Charing Cross, St Martin in the Fields
Amelia SPALDING 53 Brace maker. B Bristol
Mary A ACRAMAN 21 Niece/Needlewoman. b London
William ACRAMAN 1 Grandson. B London
Henry THOMPSON 21 Nephew/Tailor. B London
Jane THOMPSON 8 Niece. B London

The marriage reference for George ACRAMAN and Jennet SPALDING is Sept quarter 1850 Lambeth Vol 4 page 294.

George appears to have died in 1864, registered Strand.

Again apologies if this doubles up what you already have.
Cheers, Patsy
