Thank you so much for that - I'm very grateful but puzzled that I didn't
find that out myself - I know I've looked at that site many times before.

I now see that I even had Rebecca's christening but for some
inexplicable reason didn't note her parents (probably because no mother
was mentioned). So thank you very much indeed for the wake-up call! It
really does look as if Frances must have been her mother although there
was a John & Mary DYER having children up to at least 1747 and possibly
another in 1750. Must check to see if a Mary died before Frances
appeared on the scene - might be the same John?

Thanks again - it's really helpful to have another brain on the job.
