Many thanks for getting in touch re this querie.
The 1871 Census details are:
Head - Joseph Nixey
Ref: RG10, piece 2474, folio 43, page 24.
The only reason why I mentioned the 1881 census was that I'd located the
residents of Twerton House, not that the Davies family are related in any
way. Put simply, I'm aware by the 1881 census that the property was still in
existence at that point in time.
My family, headed in 1881 by Joseph's widow Martha, was then at 15 Percy
Terrace, Twerton. In 1891 after Martha's death the family was still at 15
Percy Terrace, headed by Elizabeth Nixey, Joseph and Martha's daughter.
