Thanks for reading and question. I'm unable to give any info on the Freeman's stated by you. I'm finding it very hard probably like yourself in NZ and myself in Qld Aust. to get info from England. I did find a site:- http://www.freshford.com/bradford_home.htm on which were a Freeman family from Freshford. 1851 Census Head of Family being a William at 54 yrs of age. Wife Mariann 44yrs. children James 13yrs and William 17yrs. There was also a Frederic Freeman 17yrs. Hope this is of some use to you.
Maybe if either of us in our search come across info the other can use, we could pass on to each other. My Email address is Please forward your Email address so I can pass on any info found, direct to you.
My immediate family (mothers side)came from Middleton nr. Manchester, going back to James from Bradford on Avon born 1793 as stated in my early posting.
