Hello Listers,

Would someone with local knowledge please be kind enough to check the information I have on the 1851 census? The details are on H.O.107/2032 page 29, sorry no folio number but the No. of House-holder's Schedule is 97. The address is Pits Meadow, Dudley. This is what I have:
Ed Jones head mar 31 Miner born Gornall
Ann Jones wife mar 30 born Holly Hall
Ed Jones son unm 10 born Dock
Henry Jones son unm 04 born Netherton
Caleb Jones son unm 01 born Dock

Henry is my g.grandfather and I have his birth certificate from Netherton but I have not been able to find the baptism of his father Edward in Gornal. Please, can someone tell me if, after looking at the original census, have I misread the name of Gornal, should it be something else?

If anyone else is interested in this family, Edward Jones married Ann Mason in the Parish Church of Dudley 2 Feb 1841. Edward's father is named William and also a Miner.
