I'm looking for any connections to these two surnames in the Hintlesham area.


In 1881 Esther MASON was staying with her and aunt, John and Sarah DEEKS in
Hintlesham. John was a miller.

Esther's mother, Esther TURNER, was born in Hintlesham. In 1871 she was
living in Wigmore Street Marylebone with her husband John MASON a manager to
a silversmith.

1881 she was living in Chelsea, London - a "former jeweller".

Family stories have it that the Turners as well as being farmers owned a
large jewellery business in London.
