Hello, I am researching John Henry AKEHURST, born prior to 1865 possibly
in Nutfield. He married Mary FAULKNER who was the daughter of ?
DADSWELL and ? FAULKNER.

John Henry AKEHURST worked on the railway at redhill. They had these
children that I know of: Albert, Horace, Cecil, Charlie, and John Henry
AKEHURST born 29/6/1889 probably at Nutfield. Albert and one other son,
name not known, moved to Dover. Apparently John and Henry were common
family names and no girls had been born in the family for a hundred
years prior to my Aunt Ilene Akehursts birth in 1923. As ledgend goes!

John henry AKEHURST b. 1889 married Daisy COKER at Redhill about 1920.
Daisy COKER born 17/5/1900 was the Daughter of Mark Maitland COKER born
in Tiptree Essex 1860?, and Edith EVAN born in woking 1870?

Anyone else researching these names I would really like you to contact
me.

Also I have a couple of questions. I have this address jotted down can
anyone tell me where it is - Byfleet. Woodham Grange Gatton Park
Reigate? Is Reigate in Surrey or Sussex?

Also could anyone please tell me what the church names were in Nutfield
and Merthsham pre 1890.
