Hello Carol
In order to placate my MIL and to the disappointment of my parents who were
Baptists, I married in my husband's Catholic church. I imagine the same
is/was true of many brides or grooms who wished to keep the peace with
their in-laws!! (I'm a much stronger person today and would follow my own
wishes).
