Congratulations on your 1st birthday.

I have recently started to research my RHODES family ancestry ,
I have no experience in tracing family history here or in other
countries.
I am hoping that you may have some information or contacts to
help to trace living relatives from my Fathers family, as their
addresses are not known. Some of the families traveled from England to
Australia, New Zealand & Rhodesia 50 to 80 years ago.

I have in my possession a RHODES family Bible (1847) of Charles Henry
Rownson RHODES of SURREY England, It contains a family crest with the
motto "Coelum Non Animum". I have transcribed nearly 10 pages of hand
written information from the bible, some extracts from the first entries

are listed below.

Marriage of Charles Henry Rownson RHODES & Margaret Lucy RHODES on
Thursday 19/9/1850, at Newchurch, Isle of Wight.
Witnesses included Mary E. RHODES, Lucina Susanna RHODES,
Arthur Charles RHODES, John Madgwick RHODES
